What an awful place. To drive and everything else. Get waze, do what that says. Be prepared to sit in traffic at some point.0

Just downloaded Waze onto my phone, looks good and has highlighted a holdup on the A46 so sends me across onto the M1 to avoid it. Impressed and will check again when we are ready to leave.0

Now back in Lincolnshire after uneventful journey to and from Halesowen.
On the way there on Friday we left late and got to M69/M6 junction at about 20.10 no reports of problems so went round the North route carefully keeping to the 50 and 40 speed limits unlike some who went past much faster and all went well.
Same thing coming back this evening but I must say it is good to be back up here where the roads are so much quieter.0
