Saturday - taken out by boyfriend
Sunday - Sausages, onion gravy, mash, carrots and broccoli
Monday - Left over lasagne from freezer (hm) with jacket spud
Tuesday - chicken breast with peppercorn sauce, new pots, carrots, broccoli
Wednesday -Fish portion in breadcrumbs, new pots, baked tomatoes, peas
Thursday - Homemade pizza with tuna, red onion and tomatoes
Friday - ... not sure yet... need to hunt in the freezer!0 -
Here is mine,
Sun - Was supposed to be sausage caserole but it was rank _pale_ so had dinner at my neighbours instead
Mon - West indian style chicken curry and rice, macaroni pie - DS will have Macaroni cheese before it goes in the oven.
Tues - Chargrilled chicken, chips and salad
Wed - Spag bol
Thurs - Corned beef and rice
Fri - Cheese and potato pie (unless i go out on the lash)
Sat - nothing as DS goes to mums and i usually get drunk:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -

I am shopping from the freezer and cupboards at the moment in prep for space for christmas and new year and birthday parties so here are my ideas for the week ahead
tonight (mon) beef casserole in slo cooker plus marrow, carrots, peas and potatoes
tues chili stuffed marrow with rice
wed spaghetti and meatballs in sauce
thurs slo cooker chicken curry with rice and tarka daal
fri probably pitta pizzas and salad
sat maybe lasagne and salad
sun might eat out as its the christmas fayre in my local town so will be out all day, otherwise prob roast chicken and trimmingsBlah0 -

Tonight (Monday) it's Jerk chicken, rice and veg
Tues toad in the hole with mash and sweet potatoes (sps for me)
Weds Chicken enchiladas
Thur Curry or sweet and sour
Fri and Sat I'll be away so OH is having ciabatta with steak one night, not sure what the other (prob take away knowing him!)
Sunday will prob be fishcakes and chips

Just wanted to say thanks for all the inspiration - I plan day by day what we eat based on leftovers/ freezer / storecupboard - but you lot are brilliant for jogging my memory - for example - there will definitely be toad in the hole on the menu this week“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

Finding this week (tues-tues) a bit of a struggle, but, as always get inspiration from all the posts
Tuesday - meatballs & pasta
Weds - mackrel fillets, jacket pots & salad
Thurs - DD2 ccooking - Diced chicken & warm salad
Fri - Quiche with pot wedges & salady bits
Sat - out to OH Running club christmas do
Sun - Pork with creamy mushrooms & pasta
Mon- OH cooking - Macaroni cheese with something?? (prob sausages)
