Gets quoted high figure to correct details.

It’s easy doing what you do. Still waiting for you to answer the question in my last post to you. There is a few of you who like to be arsey in your reply’s. All nicely nicely when you want help, then sarcastic supremacists in your replies to posts. You got that right, which must be a first, your reply’s to me and thousands of others show the classic traits of a keyboard warrior-1

Not here to win friends or influence anyone, would you pay £298 for a simple mistake. I did take advantage of cooling of period and fought to get the cancellation fee back. Just posted here to let others who may have been or may find themselves in a similar situation.AdrianC said:https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6251089/axa-motor-insurance-ombudsman

i see you like to chip in a lot too with a barrage of copy and paste prep. I tell you what I have told the obnoxious ones, I speak as I find and don’t even have to look at your post and reply’s to see what you are about. It’s the way you say it boys you are all so angry with the world that you spend your time on this site trolling people with a genuine intention0 -
Yes, yes, yes. The whole world is against you...1

I would have checked the information before buying the policy.
If correcting my own error caused extra cost, then I'd give myself a little slap - and either cancel or pay according to whether I felt it was a reasonable amount or not.
In your situation, no, I do not think that a reasonable cost. So I would do exactly what it appears you did - cancel, take my business somewhere it's wanted.
However, I would not lash out at everybody else for not giving me a little hug. Because I know the world does not revolve around me.0
