Update from yesterday... cobwebs are gone from the house, with a fair few spiders with them. Entertainment for the kitten if nothing else.
Side table that TV sits on tidied & dusted.
Stretches done - have needed to all week has back is horrible at the moment & I cricked (sp?!) my neck replicated a - very simple - gymnastics warm up on Monday... fool that I am.
Ooh, and I did a food shop, with coincided with the Aldi delivery turning up so you couldn't move in the aisles but there was nothing on the shelves. Very annoying.
Think that's it!0 -
I think that's me done for the day. Stairs are now clear and hoovered. Some ironing done.
Off into town to pick up a few essentials and then on to work. Will be working until nearly 8 tonight so not planning anything when I get home except dinner and then putting the kitchen to bed as it is nice and tidy, also if I put DW on at night OH empties it automatically in the morning whilst waiting for kettle to boil, so we get a good start to the day.
See you all tomorrow0 -
Hello. Hope you're all ok.
Dailies, dog walk, paid stuff and admin done here. Waiting for a delivery. Hope it turns up soon so I can fit in another dog walk before more paid stuff.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
hey peeps... run off my trotters here..
DS1 moved home 5 weeks ago and now DD2 has moved back home, DS3 is off his ad's and being a prize sphincter! Between my cold, occipital neuralgia and tonsillitis.. believe me sneezing when you have an infected throat and a massive pain in your head and neck is a killer!! I can't bend down to do anything so thats the DW, WMs and lots of other stuff impossible.
Twinkle has ABs for an infected toe.. I left her 5 days and it was just not improving so she has medicine and it takes disgusting and she takes it like an angel!
Squeak has a cello and Pixie has a viledin.. Dot IS a vile din. Moomin is not getting along with college and Is currently having an ear chewing. Swimming is awful with Dots behaviour which is beyond unreasonable. Last week I stood one side of the pool and OH the other just to get her to be vaguely compliant.
DS1 has had a tantrum and smashed my cooker door so I am trying to sort out a replacement.. the insurance company said I could have a certain one with £495 excess (which DS IS paying!) then when I tried to order it they tried scamming me out of £649... erm... no! Its a 110cm range cooker so not a tiny little thing hence the silly price.
I have scrubbed the shower.. and unblocked the toilet, twice.. and done not much else in terms of flying.
Christmas shopping has stepped up a gear.. I have decided I am not getting the girls stuff just to make it look like they have lots.. they will get something they might actually play with.. so probably a switch or a desktop pc to share.. they are set school work online and it will have strict time limits on it so it will be manageable I think. OH was after getting a tv for their room.. and xbox... erm, no!
beasty pick up time and I have achieved nothing today other than taking lots of medication and slurped lots of tea and made lots of decisions about christmas!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

I could call it a Lucky Dip Week because you could all pick a day to do at your convenience or hit rooms in descending order of 'grim' lol
Back from work. I found the files that I was vaguely looking for first thing just after lunch, so I stayed and did what I had to with them. So much for trying to keep nearer to the contracted 4 hours from this term.
WM run with sheets etc in it. HHI done. Hair washed and bedroom floor vacuumed - in the right order for once. Recycling sorted in between the showers. I’m now going to sit at the laptop for an hour and try to tick a couple of jobs off my list. Easy tea for me and DD. DH won’t be back until late so he has yesterday’s leftovers if he wants it.0 -

Overtime clocked up
Flying = nothing
I will do better tomorrow xx0 -
