I have had an interesting day.. I think I might have found a half decent dr at our surgery.. bit OTT mind.. I have occipital neuralgia.. so she has referred me for an MRI in case I have a broken vertebrae, a brain tumour or a crushed disc.. its a bloody trapped nerve.. but whatever! I have 4 lots of medication for it though, 2 I might not take but the others I will. AF turned up 4 days early and I feel like I am dying.. just in time for the FBC/thyroid function on Tuesday.. so I can guarantee there will be hysteria because I am almost dead from lack of red cells. I have no iron store at all and an hb of 7.2 back in June.. She complained the thyroid is not treated properly and said I should be having 6-8 week bloods not 3-4 months like the dr downstairs said.. tbh the dr downstairs is bit of a spoon.

Dot has the same ABs as Twinkle.. both have infected toes because they chewed them.. I have no idea!!

OH has burned his hand tipping tikka sauce on it!

Kitchen clean thanks to DS1 and gf
Washing up to date thanks to diclofenac.
    Meem mucked out kitten

Kittens are now running about my house like wild furry fleas

Tomorrow I need the front room vacuuming and the girls to tidy their room and the mattress putting back under Moomins bed.

  • Morning all,

I have a long list to do so putting it here for accountability

    - get laundry up to date (involves DH working out why TD not working effectively, I cleaned the filter out last night but it's still not drying stuff)
    - swap DDs room around
    - invoicing for DH business
    - list DD bits on eBay / FB
    - apply for new role that has come up at work ;)

Right that will keep me going xx

Off out for most of the day today, looking forward to it. Hope the weather is ok!
Have quite a lot to do this weekend so will try to make a start when we get back provided I’m not too tired.

Morning all. Hugs for anyone who needs them especially Dancemum.

Piggers, my DD used to chew her toes, never got infected though. I smiled when your post reminded me of that. Funny the things you forget. I shall remind her later, possibly in front of her husband!

It's damp here today but I want to be outside so may spend time in the greenhouse.

    Have a great day everyone.

WM is on, fingers crossed the washing can go outside to dry.

    Morning :hello:

Very belated Happy Birthday Valli xx

Weekend Willi here again :o Things should be changing at work [STRIKE]again[/STRIKE] soon - as soon as they can find room for me at Head Office I'm going there - and, when I do, (where's the fanfare button when you need it?) I'm 'dropping a day' :D I've pushed for Mondays - they would have preferred that I take a day off mid-week, which would be neither use nor ornament! - and it will be Mondays :T MM was told yesterday - although, to be fair, she hasn't been as bad lately.... or have I developed an immunity? Anyway what I'm hoping is that my work / life balance will improve AND there'll be more time to fly. :T:j:T (Is that sad? Wanting to be able to follow the Monday list?) I do hope Monday is a different room every week - or I could end up with one perfect room alongside the rest of the hovel :D Anyway there is light at the end of the tunnel :T

Priority today is to buy some Vitamin D. The fridge is worthy of Mother Hubbard - do any of the supermarkets still deliver in bags? Mr T has stopped using bags and I absolutely refuse to unpack 70 odd items individually on my doorstep  - so I [STRIKE]may[/STRIKE] will buy some fruit and dairy too. Many moons ago, one of you lovely ladies dashed in to recommend that I take Vitamin D - I should have written it down, sorry. Better late than never :o

Arrived home from work / hairdresser's / dad's at seven o'clock last night to find that I have [STRIKE]lost[/STRIKE] mislaid my back door key  Chain was on the front door - so I couldn't get in  Retraced my steps to no avail and had to drive over to DS's dad's house to pick up my spare key. (DS staying in pigpen-land for the weekend with GF so no rescue there :() There is nothing on the key to identify my address so I'm not afraid of burglars letting themselves in. I really hope the key is in or on my desk at work - but I can't get in until Monday to find out... and breathe.

Flying: I've made my bed :) I've also taken clean, dry clothes off the airer and folded ready to take upstairs, and looked at Mount Washmore before deciding to leave it until I'd had a cuppa. :o

    Tired. Tired. Tired.

    Hugs and get well soons

    Morning all,
Group hugs and GWS vibes all round, hugs especially for dancemum.

I’m still coughing like a good ‘un but prefer that over the snivelling.

We had a lovely evening out with friends but today I am on a serious go slow. I’m One Job At A Time willi today :D. Just waiting for the wm to finish, then I’ll hang that up. It’s blowy and showery outside so I might then go and take a peek in the greenhouse to pootle but keep dry. I’m sure that there are a million jobs that I should be doing before taking DD out later this morning ......

Weekend Willi is so happy to have a new friend :D She thinks that one job at a time sounds doable :D

I haven't moved from this chair yet :o However, I have ordered three months' supply of Vitamin D pills to be delivered this week :T AND (and this is what took up my time: finding it) a new dressing gown exactly the same as my old one, which was a gift more than ten years ago and is now decidedly threadbare, but so cosy. Old Faithful will become cleaning rags when new one arrives.

Plan was to crack on with flying this morning before meeting L for coffee at the posh farm shop this afti. Unfortunately plan did not know I was going to feel so tired this morning :(

I'm going to sort Mount Washmore into loads and set a load swishing before I go up and get washed and dressed.

    Hello, me again.

Dailies are done and I decided to sort and clean the fridge which led to making coleslaw, and cauliflower soup with stuff that needed using up.

Just having a cuppa. Will blend the soup then wash up. Looks a little drier now, maybe even some sun, so I may get some gardening done after all.
