    Hello

I'm here. I'm on a trip tomorrow though so I suppose I'll be on catch up later in the week.

  • Morning all, I'm going to try again this week.

WM is on and I'm off to work.

Definitely not flying but trying to flap.
  • Morning
Second attempt at getting back on the wagon. Trying last month just before I had work done in the living room which meant its contents were scattered through the rest of the house was never going to work.
  • Hi everyone:wave: I've not been flying for a long time, but have come back in the hope of getting a bit more organised in the house. Will post again later. Hope everyone has a good day!

    Morning all

A quick update of what I've achieved so far:
    - hung out WMx2 (rain expected this afternoon, but at the moment it's bright and almost sunny, with a bit of a breeze); Wmx3 is twirling, Wmx4 and 5 still to be done. This includes both lots of bedding, so getting ahead of myself for the week :D
    - put away decorating tools that were cluttering up the utility
    - started half-price gammon joint in the SC
    - sorted fridge shelves
    - made what DH's mum used to call "pot-pourri soup" for lunch out of the oddments from the fridge
    - washed up
    - wiped sides
    - sorted pile of magazines etc on the kitchen table
    - showered and dressed
    - checked whether amaryllis bulbs are still alive from last year - yes to all 4 of them, but they have shrunk, so I doubt that they'll bloom this winter - however, they're worth re-potting
    - played with Rosie up and down the stairs
    - checked finances
    - found a journal with plain pages in my stash :)

Next: do some more paperwork and at the same time tidy the study ;)

Hopefully DH will make more :coffee: soon ...

Leftovers scoffed for lunch, house quickly hoovered through.

I'm pondering sorting some kitchen cupboards while having a cuppa.
