Norton Internet Security 2008 - 3 User - £19.99

Staples are doing the above this weekend only, get a free laptop bag if you order online.

Do not use norton myself but others do.

    Comes up as £20.99 and tates out of stock, thanks anyway Gary. I think I am going to contact my geek mate, he knows a good free security package!

    Steer well clear of Norton, it has become over complex and can slow your machine down big time - try McAfee it's much better, and you can pick up a proper legit OEM version on ebay for around £10

    Waste of money. Norton is a terrible product! Avoid this like the plague.

    Decent free antivirus is AVG or Avast
    AVG also offer antispyware
    You can also get free firewalls like Sygate - check out http://www.filehippo.com

    Shopping Tips
    Don't spend five pounds to dry clean a shirt. Donate it to the charity shop instead. They'll clean it and put it on a hanger. Next morning buy it back for two pounds.

    That is about £20 too much for Norton.

    Take everybody's advice and don't buy Norton. It used to be good pre 2000 but is a system hog that will bring your computer to a stop.

    Well done to the OP.

    It is only a bargain if it is useful. Norton isn't. You can get the same effect by removing half of your system RAM.
