Do you have another card reader ?
Try Currys or Amazon for card reader.

Try a different SD card ?

Could you try it on a friends pc/laptop ?
  • Maximise the screen and you will see something similar to this , let me know what it says on the removable ones (if any)

    Yes, there's 1. Disk 1 removable 28.97GB Read Only - removable 28.96 GB FAT32 Healthy (Primary Partition)
I've got a feeling that was a new hard drive I bought for my photos. It's not plugged in at the moment though.

I don't have another card reader but have ordered a new one . I have tried a few other cards - no luck lol.

We are very rural and have no near neighbours, our friends and relations are too far away. My son is the only one but he's quite a long way too, he'll be here for Christmas though, I'm not waiting that long!

I'll ask again, when did you last fully reboot the PC?

On the right of Removable does it say Xxxxxxx (F:) where Xxxxxx is a volume name if it has one. If it has a Drive letter (F:) or whatever , what happens when you open in File exolorer? If it doesn't have a drive letter tell me

Good point neil, the drive letter (F:) is still assigned to the USB Disk.
    Is the SD card 32GB?

I did reply, I don't know what reboot means.

Really sorry I thought I had replied but obviously I didn't.

Will have to have a look.

Two of the cards I am using are 64 GB and the other is an adapter one.

Just received my new card reader (that was quick) and it's exactly the same.
  • I'm completely lost now lol.

Just going shopping hope it'll clear my head.

Thank you very much so far.
