I had to look the date several times, couldn't believe my eyes. Obviously store staff haven't been doing their job for a long time. Even if it was missed I'd give it maybe 1 day after the expiry date, for this to be on the shelf for so many weeks... Just want to say, I'm not after compensation or anything, I want someone sacked!
Just give it to a member of staff and say its out of date.
Bit harsh for someone to be sacked, how do you know if the person who was checking the dates was pulled off the job to go and do something else.
Why the angry face for, things happen, no 1 has died from drinking the milk.0 -

Should of told the store, poor old mrs jones had saved her last penny to buy some milk for a nice cuppa and now she might be ill in hospital,

A couple of days maybe but not nearly three weeks!!!
I have time-stamped photographic evidence on my phone. Not sure how to transfer it to my computer though, I tried emailing it to myself then downloading it on my computer but it only had the date I downloaded it and not the original creation/modification dates anymore. I did tell the store staff about it but didn't take it off the shelf in case someone accuses me of placing it there, I wanted the CCTV showing I only looked at it. It's fresh milk, not long life milk, and the stock is meant to be checked every single day. There's a couple of leafy greens on the shelves that's always yellow (no expiry date for those), obviously not everything gets checked. I bet if I opened the carton it's all mouldy crap inside.0
