What sofas are actually decent?

We got our leather three and two seater settees from SCS 12 years ago expecting them to last us a few years while we settled into our new home and then bought something else to replace them.
12 years on we have recently moved home, we still have them, they are wearing well and they still have plenty of years left in them.
We will probably replace them in the not too distant future, not because they are no good but because they are too small really for our new living room.
They were not the cheapest but they certainly were not the most expensive either.0 -
We were told to avoid scs, dfs, sofolofy etc and go to independent places. Trouble is finding those places and when you do they have a small range or don’t do the size you want etc
We wanted a 4 seater power recliner so our choices were fairly limited !♂️0 -
Got ours from Cousins in Dudley, leather sofa seems to have lasted 5 years with little wear showing.0

Dont rule out Ikea, as there is a lot of variation to choose from, in styles and coverings.
But building it is either fun, or a hassle

We got ours from Ikea at 1/4 of the price of virtually identical ones we were looking at from Sofas.com (which I loved but just couldn't justify the spend). Ikea do come with a 10yr guarantee too.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Recently, I bought a futon mattress for my living room from this (bestreviewexpress.com) site. At that time I saw a few posts about sofa set or chair (not sure). You can see there.[FONT="]I like to do everything to the best of my ability.
