Sorry to ask, but are you suffering from a life threatening condition at the moment ?
If so, it is possible that you qualify for an exemption from the 3 month waiting period.
Just so others are aware for the WCA life threatening conditions means a terminal illness with a diagnosis of less than 6 months.Yes mate severe depression, public anxiety, tried to kill my self 3 times.. Etc etc all recently in last few month..
I'm not disputing the OP conditions aren't life threatening but usually these conditions don't apply for terminal illness.
This case is most unusual to have the decision within 10 minutes of the WCA, with no "waiting period" for the LCWRA element.0 -
Only day before I had called to ask if I can get a change in circumstances advance, they said no as I not paid the previous one yet, and yesterday I get back pay.. Came very handy for food etc..0

This does seem odd. The only exceptions to the three month waiting period I know about are if you've been diagnosed by a doctor as having less than six months to live, or if you've had a previous decision and this is a review decision. Though maybe this is an exception I haven't come across?
Did you perhaps receive any earnings in the three month period? If you didn't have a work allowance before, it would be added from the start date of the decision. This means that less of your earnings would be taken into account which can result in underpayments from the start date of the decision.
If you've received an underpayment the updated statements should show on your account under payments. This will show whether you received the lcwra element for these periods, or if something else caused the underpayment.
And you're definitely sure the start date of your decision was in June?
No pressure to answer of course. You've just gotten me very curious as to what's caused this.
It may also be good to dig for a reason if you're up for it, as the last thing you want is for them to turn around at a later date and say they've ticked the wrong box when inputting the decision. It looks like you've questioned this with them. So they should have on record that you've queried and been told it's right by someone. So if it did turn out to be a mistake, while they would take the money back, they wouldn't be adding on any penalties.Amount left to pay on house = 64,400.
Savings buffer = 1,028.75 of 2415.
Next large expense = 159 of 483.0 -
No earning at all. As I been suffering for mental health..
I did did call them as u mentioned, and they said I deserve it and they made their decision.. That's all I can say0 -
Your whole story is very strange, sorry. From waiting just 10 minutes for a decision after your work capability assessment to receiving back dated money from the start of your claim for LCW with no waiting period. Both of those make no sense. No earning at all. As I been suffering for mental health..
I did did call them as u mentioned, and they said I deserve it and they made their decision.. That's all I can say0 -
If I knew then I would not post it out it here would I. From my understanding for mental health they usually make the decision the same day now as people have committed suscide etc and with me trying to do it 3 times..atleast this is what I was told at mental health clinic0

No one has suggested you've lied. I'm just saying your situation is unique and it doesn't usually happen this way. I wouldn't want someone reading your threads and thinking it's correct and that's what should happen.Well sorry I must have lied about everything then here.. Just to get a bit of attention0 -
I dare say hundreds of thousands of people suffer with MH but don’t get their decision within minutes.0
