But a Dacia Sandero is a much better value car than a Mercedes S Class, £7,000 or £75,400. Not just cheaper but better value for someone who just wants basic transport without the snob 'value' of the badge, there's no doubt whatsoever about that.0 -
As usual we have the trolls out in force who think that iOS and android are comparable and interchangeable.0

They aren’t.
How do I use an Apple Watch with an android phone?
How do I transfer play store purchases to an iPhone?
How do I get rid of all the google stuff on an android phone?
How do I utilise continuity and handoff between an android phone and an iPad or Mac?0 -
Thank you Colin. I also agree with Highland76’s point as well - this all depends on which side of the fence you sit. For many years I sat on Apple’s side because I loved the design, company ethos and build quality after being smitten by my first Apple product, an iPhone 4. However since Steve Jobs’ sad demise Apple appears to have lost its way a little. As previously posted, working in MS Office from home now necessitates a return to PC. I shall in some ways miss my Mac etc., but functional improvements aside, the lower prices of comparable products makes the transition easier. All companies are in business to make profit, but I do feel product development under Tim Cook has slowed down whilst their pricing policy has not - instead it continues to take advantage of their loyal customer base. The Apple glow is real, as is Apple tax. Peace to all and over and out!0

I got my iPhone 11 pro today and can say I'm very pleased with it. its a beautiful phone and was very quick transferring all my date from my iPhone 7 to it. It was seamless. I had the iPhone 7 for 2 years 10 months and can honestly say I never experienced any problems with it. The battery could still hold a full charge. I upgraded because I wanted a new phone and wouldn't of gone for anything less then a iPhone 11.0

Is that the sort of "company ethos" you respect?0 -
So you don't find the use by Apple of child labour at all objectionable?

You do know that issue (your report is from 2013) included a number of suppliers to Apple, not Apple themselves and the suppliers also did work for a number of other makers, for example Samsung.
Your own link makes the point it was Chinese suppliers and the worst perpetrator was axed by Apple. One Chinese supplier, a circuit board component maker called Guangdong Real Faith Pingzhou Electronics, was axed by Apple after 74 children under the age of 16 were recruited to work on its production lines.
According to Apple, the children had been knowingly supplied by one of the region's largest labour agencies, Shenzhen Quanshun Human Resources.
Its investigators found that the agency conspired with families to forge identification documents. Apple did not disclose the ages of the children involved, but its code of conduct states it will not employ workers under the age of 15, or under the legal working age in any jurisdiction – which is 16 in China.====0 -

The use of child labour by any organisation is objectionable.
What I personally respect is how open and honest Apple are about supplier responsibility https://www.apple.com/uk/supplier-responsibility/.0
