I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Not getting an email auto receipt is a red flag scenario , a warning that delivery has failed , we don't know why , it's not our problem , maybe the CCBC won't even fix it !! But definitely a red flag and means our advice must change to include it as a warning sign
One thing we do know is that it doesn't get logged if no email auto receipt has been sent back
Popping a letter in the post box with a photo taken is a method of proof of posting , there is no proof of delivery until you get a response2 -
So I've recieved a letter from BW legal saying they have my defence but thier client is still pursuing it in court and they are likely to win, bla bla, but there is still time to pay etc, I take it this is the usual generic letter?0

You were expecting it, weren't you?
Keep following that list you were using when you filed a Defence and you will see item 7 on that list reads...
You need to now be reading the next lines on that list.4 -
Yeah I'm not particularly fussed by it, just amused. I've not recieved any questionnaire yet but I'm sure it will arrive in due course0
