Hi all just an update,
I emailed my defense in good time before the cut off of 29 December
As of today I've heard or received nothing apart from a letter from BW legal telling me it's "not too late" to settle up 😂.
Can anyone tell me how long it normally takes to get to the hearing stage0 -
Did you get notification that the CCBC will send your defence to the claimant, and that they'll have 28 days to decide whether to continue? Even so, you'll never know when exactly they did send on the defence, so can never know when that 28 days period will end.

Check the status on your MCOL account it should give you what you want. Did you receive an auto receipt when you sent your defence to CCBC?3

Check again your email sent folder. Not saying you have done this, but on the rare occasion we have seen a Defendant go through all the process and failing at the last hurdle by not hitting the send button.

Yes I've just checked my sent folder and it's OK,
I haven't received any other correspondence
It's definitely in the sent folder but on the MCOL site it's only showing as recieved my acknowledgement if service0 -
I was asking whether that letter from BWL mentioned that they had received your Defence.
If that's the case then it was sent to them by the CCBC, so clearly the CCBC have seen your Defence but failed to record their receipt of it.
Speak to the CCBC tomorrow, then depending on what they say, forward them your Defence email from your sent folder which should be good enough proof that the CCBC have mislaid it.4 -
No I think it was just a generic robo letter saying they have made a claim against me and I should settle, blah blah, I have checked the email address and it is the one given on here so I've forwarded it again
Thanks for responding1 -
And I've literally just received an auto reply from them 🤔 this didn't happen the first time2

You can't send a defence and not get an acknowledgement.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
