Awake early and it's pay day so thought I'd get up and be useful. So far I have:
Done the money shuffle, all pots topped up. Pleasingly £35 left in food budget this month. This has been snaffled in to a food surplus pot that I can have as a sub pot to my main account without opening a separate savings account. :T
Have been through bank account, cancelled 3 inactive DD and removed several payees from internet banking so I don't pay them by accident
Drank coffee
I will also:
Delete some e mails and unsubscribe from some more
Hot drink for commute
Packed lunches all round
Make sausage rolls
Think of something creative and not sausage like to do with 2nd pack of sausages that defrosted yesterday in an open freezer door incident so it doesn't seem like we're having sausages 2 nights in a row :rotfl:
Have a quick tidy round
Walk with friend at lunch
Have a good day all. Purps.0 -
Hi All
Bit late to it this week
I've closed two credit Accounts this week, don't know if it was the right thing to do for my credit score but its better for me that they have gone
I have had to buy a DSLR camera for my daughters photography course, managed to buy a secondhand but unused one from EB*y for £100 less than I could see it online but i still couldnt really afford it (I've made up £50 by selling some stuff), school also want cash for art supplies
Awaiting payment for 3 buffets, got two booked next week. August we have some very large buffets booked in so expecting around 1,500 in over the next few months - the business has also been entered into an Awards for sustainability
Today:
Made lunch for work
Dinner tonight - TBC but plenty here
post Eb*ys
Have a good day all

Sounds like you're going to be busy with your business, Natlie.
Morning all,
Quick post before I get a move on.
*No spending as I don't need to go out.
*Do my big weekly house clean. As usual will be using minimal products & washable cloths.
*Water & feed veg as this fell off the list yesterday.
*Pick more chillies & freeze.
*Check & put away grocery delivery when it arrives.
*Make a list of jobs I can usefully do tomorrow when I'm in town.
*Start picking pears.
*Dismantle hanging baskets, keeping anything savable to pot up for using again.
*Check regularly for solicitor email. I'm expecting one & really do want to move things on.
*Home pedicure. Intend to get my nail polish box out & choose a nice autumn colour.
*Finish knitting current stash project as need to return to knitting large item for a Christmas present.
*Start thinking logistics of replacing ancient freezer...... which is exceedingly full atm.
I need to wake myself up a bit & get cracking.

Morning
Nothing very exciting but jobs for today are:
Check banking
Tend to plants
Charge tablet and phone
Take medication
Himself is off to doctors so whilst he's out I'll get a quick tidy done and hopefully dispose of some useless and broken things when he's not looking
Leave shopping till tomorrow. Nothing needed urgently
Check bus times for holiday
Look out birthday card from stash for my friend to take with us so I don't have to buy one from the very expensive (but nice) shops in the village
Do a little extra job in the house. Yesterday's worked like magic
Take steak from freezer to defrost
Finish coffee and off I go.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
PurpleFairy some ideas for sausages, cook the second pack and return to the freezer, then you have cold sausages ready to add to packed lunches etc.
You could prepare, cook then freeze one of your regular sausage meals, ready for an easy meal another time.
Alternatively you could take the meat out of the skins add chopped onion & seasoning, form into balls, cook in a tomato based sauce, we would have this with pasta.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Before that I want to get plenty done.
Today's list:
PAD
Update spending diary
Pmp etc
B/L/D from stores
Stick to the meal plan
Home educate children for free
Quick check & tidy of the fridge
Make a batch of muesli
Look for recipes to make the most of our windfall apples, suggestions welcome
Getting organised, clearing my mind:
Complete dd's registration form
Keep up with emails, deleting unsubscribing, filing
File home edition resources, my friend passed on some old empty folders their business no longer needs, otherwise 2 piles of clutter first paperwork, second empty folders
Once filled and labelled, store folders in a less accessible shelf, freeing up space that is easier to get toFashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
