I didn't think Hisense had been selling in the UK market for 3 years? But it's difficult to get spares for even their new models, so there is no chance on a 3 year old set. So I'd be looking to get a contribution to a better new brand. But on a 3 year old Hisense, you'll be lucky to be offered more than £100. What did it cost new?
No, you are not entitled to a loan TV while you wait, though there is no harm in asking.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Hisence are based in Leeds so you can call them re spares, the spares are 2 panels power and video, bet you they have replacements.

Otherwise why would JL and Richersound offer 5 Year warranty.

Teletext most certainly does exist on both BBC1 and BBC2. It is not the same as it was quite some years ago so if it will make people happier call it an on screen information service. I also access it by using the TXT button on my LG TV.

    That's not Teletext/Ceefax.
That is the Red Button service which has replaced it. The concept of page numbers was added later buts it not "traditional" teletext.

What is "old school" Ceefax hasn't been around since 2012.

"If we can't repair your TV, we'll replace it with a TV of equivalent specification. If no equivalent product is available, we'll either offer you the nearest equivalent specification or its selling price value , and we'll always do our best to make sure you're satisfied with the outcome."
