Not sure what's happening today. I've had my SW breakfast (berries and yogurt) but we're out soon and won't be back until 8 o'clock or possibly later. I'm hoping that I can find something SW friendly at lunchtime and come home and cook from the freezer. DH may have other ideas! As it's his birthday (despite being involved in an event all day) I'll let him choose.
  • Morning all :A
WI with a (expected) gain of 1lb, had pasta (gf) for first time in a while this week and have been bloated ever since :(
I haven’t had starchy carbs for a while now so maybe the pasta doesn’t agree with me now :(
Also had the hen party food last week although was mostly veg as couldn’t eat much as was rest was spicy.
Oh well onwards and downwards (we hope) :D

Have a good weekend all :A
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

A lovely day again today. Have got a load of washing on the line and looks as though it's almost dry so will get it in shortly. Planning on sitting out in the garden with a book later

    Today's plan:

B - stuffed mushrooms - mushroom, pepper, spring onion, pepper S; couscous F, grated cheddar part HEA
L - HM veg soup with chickpeas - carrots, aubergines, onions, garlic, swede -all S; veg stock made with stock pot F; brogue 1 (still working my way through them but only 2 left now - will be glad when they're gone!)
D - HM fish pie - salmon, smoked haddock, white fish P; cheese sauce 4 Syns (I use packet mix as I can't seem to get my own to thicken properly so have given up now!); potatoes F; will serve with frozen petit pois and sweetcorn F

    HEA - milk in tea/cheese
HEB - none planned but may have some Ryvita & cheese spread later or couple of hifi bars
Syns - cheese sauce mix 4

bitterly disappointed. Lost just half a pound this week when I have filled in SAS logs daily, walked a lot, hardly had any syns and sat with people while they had fish and chips and I had a salad and plums.

It is so UNFAIR! I go on hols next Sat and wanted to go with 2 stone award under my belt but I still have 2.5 lbs to go.

i couldn’t even stay to group after I was weighed because I was too fed up. Today I HATE slimming world. :(

Oh Penny you really should have stayed to group, it would probably have helped you. At least you got a small loss and not a gain. It's quite likely that if you stick to plan this week you'll have a good loss next week. The other thing could be that you have lost inches - this often seems to happen when you expect a good loss and then only have a small loss.

Did you actually have enough syns? I know you said at the beginning of the week that you realised you were having too many syns and that you cut back after that, so perhaps you cut back too much?

Try to have the recommended 10-15 each day for this week and hopefully you'll see a good loss next week. I know when I have my syns daily rather than weekly I tend to get a better loss (usually 1.5lb rather than 0.5lb so could be worth it for you to try that).
