I'm not sure about my deeds, I need to apply for them but if that's all ok...am I good to go?
Thanks for your help and time.0 -
You can download a copy of your deeds from the land registry, costs £3 (or did a few years ago), instantly available when you payMortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0

Which one title or plan. Many thanks for your reply0

Just the title deeds, that's the bit that contains the owner/mortgage details and any restrictions the plan is just a map and I think you know where your land is
Unless you have a copy from the solicitors at home somewhere from when you purchased the house?Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -

No, that is the extra charging website. The official site is:
https://www.landregistry.gov.uk
I would buy both register and plan - the register may refer to areas and features that are shown on the plan.0 -
Thanks so much all, searching the folders before a buy a copy.
Again thanks.0 -
Right I couldn't find it so purchased both online, it's only 2 pages long and one boundary map is that correct?
I can't find anything saying Restrictions, would it says that or is everything so hard to understand?0 -
That's all they are nowadays!
There should be something that says restrictions/covenant/rights etc, if there is no mention of anything relating to a previous owner (normally the original builder/owner of the land/council if ex-council) then you are in the clear
Read it very carefully and if in doubt, type up what it says and we can translate it to useable English!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
23.08.2017) The Transfer to the proprietor contains a covenant to
observe and perform the covenants referred to in the Charges Register
and of indemnity in respect thereof.
C: Charges Register
This register contains any charges and other matters
that affect the land.
1 (11.09.1998) A Conveyance of the land in this title dated 6 April 1998
made between (1) Taunton Deane Borough Council and (2) Malcolm Clive
Jones and Audrey Frances Rhoda Jones contains restrictive covenants.
NOTE: Copy filed.
That's all I could find.0 -
I think you now need a copy of what's filed in the charges register as there are covenants listed.
That will require a seperate application to the Land Registry. I believe the charge is a little more than £3 but under £10.0
