Why is £25 or £35 of free compo "too little"?

You're still getting the £175 for switching - be grateful they even offered the extra.

    Honestly, some people...
Really? Too little to compensate for the stress caused by this. Bare in mind I didn't have access to my account 2 days before it switched and couldn't cancel the switch because I didn't have access. It took me HOURS to sort this out, several phone calls and a visit to the branch, and even then I could only get access to the account but not cancel the switch. I had to open another bank account with my old bank to transfer all my money there so i could ensure i can pay rent, bills etc, as I couldn't see my new bank account. This was due to no fault of my own. So yeah, £35 is a !!!!take for that.

This was very stressful. The stress of not knowing where my money is going or when I can access it is not worth £35. I get that for a lot of people that is a substantial amount of money and they don't worry for that kind of stuff. That's fine. For me it is not worth the feeling of anxiety and stress over finance. I am responsible with my finances but I am also anxious about it as I have had financial troubles most my life, so I want to be able to see my rent has been paid, I am not on overdraft etc.
