Worth pointing out that despite intervention from the Central Banks the patient is still technically in intensive care. Using the word recovered is therefore somewhat premature. Suggest you read up some more on the topic.

    I agree.
That's why I said ''would have'' - not ''has''.

Isn't it funny. The SW1 remain media are saying there's going to be a medicine shortage. I have to take prescription medicine, last time I looked on the back it said in big, bold black writing : MADE IN THE UK.

This no deal scaremongering truly is laughable. The only issue we may have is sorting the Irish border. Then again, we do not want a border, Ireland do not want a border, EU do not want a border. So why bother having a border? Everything on mainland Europe is prepared.

    Well that's ok then.
As long as your particular medication won't be affected then I don't see what all the fuss is about.

I'd vote for anything at all to avoid a no-deal and I'm sure very few are suicidal enough to want a no deal

    I wouldn't be so sure.
Brexit has become a bit of an ideological cult.

There are many who are willing to see disruption, in order that they can hang out their union jack bunting and survive on spam and powdered egg. Just like the good old days of The Blitz*

*despite the fact that many are in their 50s and weren't even born then.
  • Like deputy PM Nick Clegg was one MP with one vote, then.

    Yes.
    What's your point?

Most of the people fantasising about spam and powdered egg are Remainers. It's not the Brexiteers going full prepper.
  • Isn't it funny that leavers who claim no deal would be harmless, are the same leavers who keep telling us removing the no deal option would be undermining our negotiation position?

That Farage could easily be in the same position. So we get a Tory / BP coalition with Farage as Home Secretary in charge of immigration and crime. How does that sound?

One Nazi enables another. All Labour's doing.

    It's entirely consistent surely.

If no deal is harmless (it's not*), fine, you go for no deal. If OTOH you refuse to countenance no deal, you're saying it is harmful and any deal would be better. The other side therefore offers you any deal, like, a very bad one.

*I'm keen to know what the no dealers intend to offer British farmers whose exports all go to Europe and will soon attract 40% tariffs.

Seriously? In essence we have to take what we are given. No negotiation.

Not at all, we can pick an option closest to what we want and negotiate from there, it's not the EU's fault we (a) don't know what we want and (b) couldn't negotiate a discount at DFS.

It's also true, in that pretty much any deal we're dictated to will be better than a no deal. Can you think of any deal that's worse than a no deal?

Good for you, but I personally know 2 people who are facing medicine shortages already, being directly blamed on Brexit. Not all medicine is made in the UK and not all medicine has a long shelf life.
  • Farage implementing his own policies or Johnson implementing Farage's policies, makes no difference.
