Hi everyone, i've sent my defence and we'll see what happens.

Interestingly, i did today receive from CE copies of all the paperwork i had requested. They finally sent a copy of the transactions for the day i parked in the carpark (as i mentioned previously, they had only sent me transactions for the wrong day). Now, the day i parked there, 1st Nov, the document shows only 6 transactions later in the day. The original transaction list they sent which was for the 11th November is probably only a part-list as it covers all of one A4 page but there are 30 transactions listed there. Again, my point being that the new machine recently installed wasnt working correctly at the time.

Agrees, that is good evidence and a fair conclusion that a Judge might share.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Hi everyone,

it's been a while since i posted on here regarding my CE summons. As Redx mentioned in Oct 2019, the DQ stage is next but up to today, i still haven't received anything. And I've checked MCOL - the last update was simply confirming they had received my defence.

Is this usual to wait so long?

    thank you

    No, it is not usual.

Might be worth ringing the CCBC, phone number on your Claim Form, to find out what's going on.

The stage between your defence submissoin and the DQ, is the claimant HAS to confirm they wish to continue

The yhave, from memory 28 days to confirm this. if they dont then the claim should be automatically stayed

Hi nosferatu, that's interesting and it's certainly been a longer than 28 days as i sent the defence on the 30th Sept within the time i had to submit. Could you just let me know what the phrase 'automatically stayed' means please. Thank you

Automatic means what automatic means in general - without further intervention. Stayed means the case is suspended/stopped/held until and unless the claimant pays a fee to release it.
