I have just had the reverse effect - I ordered a Garmin in loads of time for Christmas (taking this thread into account!) on Supersaver delivery on 27th November, it was scheduled to arrive on 3rd December and it actually turned up last night (30th November!!). They can still do it if they try!!!

I finally had my goods on Monday 26th so a week after their estimated date.

Therefore I would give it a week and if it still doesn't arrive contact Amazon.

Hi, This is my first post here, I am also having a nightmare with Amazon Super Saver Delivery, I ordered something for over £100 with Amazon on 26th November and stupidly went for the Super Saver Delivery as I've never had a problem with it in the past, maybe Amazon are trying to put us all off this option now, I received an email on 27th November saying the item had been despatched and expected delivery date was 3rd December, it's now the 6th and still no sign of it, I contacted Amazon who suggested I check with the local Royal Mail sorting office who told me I wasn't the only person who had contacted them recently looking for Amazon parcels - they hadn't received it yet so couldn't help me, Amazon must be "encouraging" us all to go on to "Amazon Prime". If they don't get their act together I will not be buying from them again, there are plenty of other sites out there now offering a better standard of service

Just thought I'd expand on my experience - my delivery was through one of those men with the back of an estate car full of parcels! He was also delivering Debenhams parcels and I don't know what else!

My goods are late arriving too, depatched & estimated delivery was the 3rd December. Hope they turn up soon.

I've ordered quite a few things in the past week. I've lost track of how long the stuff took because I wasn't in a rush for it. But it wasn't long. I got the latest today - and they weren't due until the 8th. So they took 3 days after dispatch. All Super Saver Delivery.

These were all ordered at the same time. All have been delivered (apart from The Simpsons Movie). They were all delivered separately (apart from today's delivery). I can't believe they didn't even put the 2 copies of Die Hard 4.0 in the same package!

That is because if the DVDs come to more than £18 per package you would have to pay import duty and VAT on them!

I put in an order one evening and was pleased with the super saver delivery price. I told by e-mail that it would be delivered in 4-5 days time. Great, so far so good.

NEXT DAY I had an e-mail to say that they had tried to deliver but had been unsuccessful, so the order was cancelled

I had been in ALL DAY, nobody had rung the doorbell, there was not even a card through the door.... none of the neighbours ahd seen or heard anything, even the local street spy (elderly lady who sits in the window).

Amazon CS were worse than useless, even when given hard facts re correct delivery time (= copy of their e-mail), apparently the 'super saver delivery times are ESTIMATES due to the low cost. They had no answer to why this bargain cheap service could apparently deliver faster than the premium service.

Their e-mail was condescending enough to admit that 'they appreciated I might be upset'. I was not upset, I was furious because I knew no attempt had been made to deliver the parcel and that they were lying.

They were kind enough to refund me...eventually.

Amazon will have to manage without my custom from now on.

That makes sense. It was the Jersey ones that were sent separate.
