@radioles - you’ve reminded me to check our vitamins/supplements/herbal remedies stash! Had 12 items - TA 4 and have an action plan to actually try to UU some of them. Thanks! :beer:0 -
Three UUs from this morning:
Bumble and Bumble Don’t Blow It (Fine) 7ml sample WDBA and will do in the near future. Love this stuff, really helps control my hair when I air dry, I've actually cut down on how often I use my hairdryer to dry my hair.
Colgate Total Original Toothpaste sample WMB but I'm not sure. I tend to stay away from toothpastes with SLS in them, but I got these free after my hygienist appointment, so I thought I would try it. This was actually okay. I could only use it on a morning because if I used it on a night, the SLS would irritate my mouth a lot. I might buy in the future. I've got another sample tube to use.
The Body Shop Mango Shower Gel 250ml WDBA and will do in the future. Lovely scent. Will replace with the LRP Lipikar Surgras Cleansing Bar.0 -
I had such great ambition to pan a lot this month but my skin got nasty infected and sore. The doctor ordered no make up until the infection cleared up. Nasty, I tell you.
I learned a lot from the time free of makeup and a Sore ucky face. People are really don't care about appearence too much. People still talked to me and laughed with me despite looking far from the best.
I learned the value of a nice glycolic toner as the skin feels better with out it. It was something that I definitely need to get again.
So basically nothing new in or out but despite going on make up hiatis, I miss it.0 -
Hope you feel better soon savingfortomorrow. If you’re looking for a glycolic toner recommendation I would recommend the Aldi Nip and Fab copy pads. I managed to find them again yesterday in Aldi. If you can’t get them I would next recommend the Murad Clarifying Toner. I couldn’t be without a glycolic one now though at the moment I’m using the Aldi Retinol one. Not as effective as glycolic for me.
Also, in Aldi yesterday I picked up the copies of Liz Earle C&P and Instant Boost Skin Tonic. Don’t need these just yet but you have to grab these when you can. I also got the Moisture Boost moisturiser to use as night cream as my LE Skin Reapair tube is getting light so will need that soon. Don’t know what this is a copy of.
1 UU today so far - Bath and Body Works handcream Shea butter. Lovely formula as always but not keen on fragrance. Have only one in stash now.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Ins
LyonsLeaf Soften & Rejuvinate Facial Oil
LyonsLeaf Beauty Balm
This is a new company to me, everything is handmade in the UK, cruelty free, natural and plastic free. It came in a box with cornstarch packaging chips, paper packaging tape so it could all be recycled. The balm is for removing makeup and as a skin balm. Really looking forward to trying this and the upside of not having a huge stash (no skincare stash at all really now) is that I can open and use it straightaway.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Another UU Tweak’d hair mask. Used on hair and finished the tube as shaving cream. Bit disappointed by this. The lovely Dennis (brand owner) promised me the World and I can’t say I noticed any difference to my hair. Have 3 more tubes (although different fragrances) in stash. At least I don’t have to buy shave cream for the foreseeable.
I was also tidying up my makeup tray and decided to TA the Make up Revolution stick foundation in there. It doesn’t spread well on my skin and always looked patchy so it’s gone.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. No problem sunny, I think most people probably have some expired stuff like this lurking at the back of cupboards. i'm sure there is other stuff still to go, but was quite pleased with the amount that was UU/TA.
I've got another 3 things to add to my list for this month.
-Root Colouring spray
-235 ml Tresemme vibrant colour shampoo, this is a regular purchase
-200ml Gorgeous by Gok Wan body lotion, was ok, would be happy to use if got as a gift again, but wouldn't specifically purchase.
Monthly total: 26/30.
I've got to try and UU/TA/GA another 4 things by tomorrow night if I want to make my target. I've got quite a few 'almost finished' things, so I'm still hopeful.:)0
