I have the thick version of this and even though I have fine hair I still really like it. I may buy the fine one when this is done but that will be ages and ages yet.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

All in all I really enjoy melting wax tarts and have tried a few brands as, like you, I find the cost of YC extortionate. Having said that though I’ve found recently that the One Below shops sell YC original (not the insipid Home Inspirations range) for their original price (under a £1). The fragrances are the older ones but I’ve got over the excitement of new fragrances as they use the same generic ones over and over again.
I have tried Woodwink which are insipid, I think one called Grey Goose however love the Bath and Body Works melts. I buy mine from a site called Candles Risca. He offers free p&p on purchases over £30, offers a reward scheme and is prompt on delivery.
yeah I love wax melts I think they are more effective. thanks for the recommendations!0 -

Two INs this afternoon:
The Body Shop Aloe Soothing Rescue Cream Mask 100ml
The Body Shop Shea Nourishing Body Lotion 200ml
These were on sale, and I want to try them both, and with another voucher code and a £5 reward voucher I had to use up, I basically got both items for £80 -
2 more UUs:-
Sample of YSL Mon Paris fragrance. Was nice. Would not purchase though. Nice to try.
Mac On the Line lipgloss. I think this was limited edition. Nice enough chocolate brown colour. WNBA if I could.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Thought I'd give a quick update. I'm aiming to use up 30 things this month.
We had some illness earlier in the month, so used up handwashes, children's vitamins, calpol, cough bottles etc, but I'm not including them in my total as these tend to be used up and replaced. I am focusing on reducing the stockpile, finishing up half-used products or getting rid of out-of-date stuff.
Went looking for antihistamines in the cupboard and found 5 bottles of various medicines that were extremely out of date, so these were returned to pharmacist for disposal.
Used up the following:
-3 mini shampoos /shower gels (from hotels)
-2 children's shower gels
-Marvel body spray
-Colour effects shampoo
-Cotton wool pads
-Shea Butter Cleansing wipes
-100ml Tangled rose body lotion
-Exfoliating facewash
-100ml Jimmy Choo Blossom Perfume (WBA, but I think this is more a summer perfume)
Total for month 23/30
I did succumb and buy Expert Max White Whitening toothpaste. I am a sucker for these things, I'm always trying to brighten my teeth as I drink black tea and diet coke. Sometimes I think it is helping, but I'm really not sure.
Also bought some epsom salts with lavender. I have loads of bubble baths/bath bombs etc, but I'm hoping these will ease my aching muscles as I have an injury just now.0
