  • thansk ia, i thought it was strabge how they hadnt eaten for weeks but when they die its strange they are like still snails but they go all watery and then basically leave there shell behind. of course when i was checking/feeding them i was picking them up as usually and they were still hevey, but they would have been because the membrane they form at the entrance to there shell hadnt been broken yet (thats the last thing to break) so the water was making up their normal weight  anyhows i have no idea what to do with the two empty shells as these are my first pair to die

Does anyone else make a connection between Ste's nearly birthday and IA's cystits?! Ahem! (or is that only in my house! Special occaision n all that!)

Really there is nothing as good as those sachet thingys as they work instantly. I had cystitis about 2 months ago (and it wasn't a birthday in our house!) and i got a packet of something like that from Asda, i think it was only about £2 for 6 sachets, and in the end i only used 2-3 of them. Couldn't stomach it once i felt better even though your supposed to use them all! But when you're peeing glass, you'll drink anything!

sympathy for the cystitus i used the sachets from Asda as well, as i can't drink Cranberry juice. I ended up with the doctor as it wouldnt' clear.

pap sorry about the snails, ooopps and idea of the cause of death? Maybe you need to bury them in the ground or if big enough used them as a decorative feature in the garden.

Oh yes PAP, So sorry about the snails, i never knew they sort of evaporated when they died?! Who'd have thought that?

Seems a lot of us are feeling a bit low just now, eh?

I have aching back and shoulders and feel yeuch in general and look like shiite, i have spots like i haven't had for ages. And i have a christening on sunday for which i didn't want to look bleuch as some of my old workmates will be there. I have to look fabulous and as if life is great!

Life is okay, i should add. It's my body that's letting me down!

Lemon barley juice is good too for cystitis and not as dry as cranberry.
You need to make sure that you drink enough on a daily basis though and pee regularly because otherwise you don't flush things through enough.
Horrible having things going wrong downstairs though isn't it.
