  • Happy Birthday to Ste for Sunday :bdaycake:

It's my hubby's birthday today. I don't normally do the cooking in our house but I told him today that I would make a turkey roast dinner for him.

Have finally got my broadband connection sorted, it's so much better than dialup, you dont realise how fast broadband is until you have to go back to dialup.

  • Morning hunny,
I'm off work with this dodgy eye and DH and I are going to try and get a few Christmas presetns for the kids today. I look very scary so am not keen to work around the Town Centre-frightening...

Morning all. Have a crap day coming up as meeting the ex for a drink and 'why it's not really possible to get back together'

  • IA,I have an infection in the lid of my left eye-it's not conjuctivitis but it's all puffy, swollen, red and very sore. Doctor has given my cream to put in my eye and peniciilin to help clear it up...look like I've gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson-on a good note, off work 'til Monday...But it hurts! lol

Good Luck today HFSB (or HSBC as I tend to think of you...)

  • Blimey another (woo) Friday!

Hopefully the drugs will kick in soon Bunny

Well if all goes well, the guy who has bought the car is bringing round the rest of the money tonight. He is paying by cheque (my least favourite way of paying) but he won't be getting the car until the cheque clears.

Having a bit of a 'clear the freezer out' mission before Christmas looms. I'm slowly discovering all the tubs of leftover chilli, keema and 'unknowns'. I'm pretty sure one tub is full of nectarine puree from the haul of fruit I got for 10p a few months back..........but it could also be pumpkin and red pepper soup from last Autumn........
