Thanks yes I understand just trying to find a way to deposit when I don't have funds in my current account

Just not in your current account or don't have the funds at all?

If you are borrowing to gamble you have a problem.

I must agree with previous posters - if you don't have the money available in your current account, should you really be gambling on borrowed money ?

This is not intended as a "preach" - more as a salutary caution from someone who's been there, done that, got the t-shirt. Thankfully that was many years ago, but it's a phase of my life I'll never forget, no matter how much I'd like to.

Not sure of the answer but if you applied for a money transfer card I think you are not charged to putting money into your bank account or a bookie but not sure as i have never used one t

Half right.....money transferred to a current account won't count as a cash transaction but there will be a transfer fee (normally)

Transfers from a credit card to a bookies will always be treated as a cash transaction

If you don’t have the money in current account how are you going to pay back the credit card. Please don’t say with your winnings because there’s no garuntee you will win enough to pay it back.

£1000 is a lot to gamble if you don’t have it. Only gamble what you can afford to lose

    You don’t do it.

If you don’t have the free-flow cash then don’t gamble.

if he's doing what i think he's doing he's using his available credit to increase his cashflow the added interest and surchage is just something you will have to put up if there are no other ways to get that extra cash.

this can be payed back quite quickly as anything you pay to the credit card should be taken from this cash advance charge interest etc

Obviously if your just gambling then please stop as real gamblers never prosper.

Pro tip: Don't deposit £1000 into a bookies when you don't have funds in your current account. Are you insane?

Next question: How do you mask that horrible taste from drinking meths?
