Shiply not refunding deposit

  • Do their terms and conditions say you are entitled to a refund if you cancel the service?
    They provided the booking service but you chose not to go ahead, I'm not sure you'll be eligible for a full refund.
  • From what I have seen so far and the complaints they have on other sites from disappointed costumers I will not even see one pound. Its up to my bank right now and their internal Internet fraud legal services to refund the payment and blacklist them. Its an online scam and I wonder how these guys are still up and running. 
  • I am entitled to a refund. I have an email stating that. What is Shiply's costumer support respond? If they want customers to believe in their company they need to support them and not take advantage of them.

  • Thanks for noticing. Huawei Mobile phone bad auto correct. I hope this was my only problem. I lost my iPhone money with Shiply. Maybe their manager who is hiding bought one with my refund money, his spelling will be great!

    Have you followed up the Shiply reps replies  from other users on this thread .
    Or contact the Greek consumer whatever you use for advice .

    I have checked this internally with the team here at Shiply.  We replied to your query and asked for some details of where the proposed car purchase was from.  We did not receive a reply from you. 
    We do just need some details to help verify that the transportation did not go ahead and you are indeed eligible for a refund.

    Thanks for your interest in my case.

    I did not reply to your team intentionally. The reason being that, according to other customer reviews from other Internet sites the refund process is definitely a lost cause when you get a reply from a certain individual from your team.

    Please don't let me state his name. 

    He requested the following:

    '' Can you advise me of the details of car dealer you were purchasing the vehicle from and we will make our own enquiries.'' 

    Please have the decency of letting me now that you never return deposits instead of blackmailing me with your Sherlock Holmes style investigating techniques. 

    After all I just want my money back since there was no service provided.

  • So rather than engaging with the company you cold-shouldered them based on Internet reports? 🙄

    I know Shiply don't have a particularly good reputation, but you've pretty much shot yourself in the foot.
  • I have been (engaging) with the company for over a month now and its the first time someone did reach out here.

    But the only reason was to get sympathy from people like you instead of giving my money back.
     
    I will eventually get my refund from my bank since Shiply has admitted that I am eligible for a refund and not getting one.

     My patience has run out and I am not in the mood of sweet talking anyone to get my money back even if that seems as I am shooting myself in the foot.

    People need to know about Shiply's tactics.
