My car has been blocked in

Thanks for the reply all. The police initially left but then I gave them a call to complain that I could not get out either. They then showed up again (not sure whether it was because of my call) and blocked the call from leaving the cul-de-sac. Around 23:00pm a tow truck came and took the car away. Neighbour says that the car had the wrong plates on it and it was stolen.

There was another car parked off the road which towed the next morning.
