As I thought. I’ll just resend my pack already sent to the court with the previous dates etc

The courts often ask for a "bundle" containing everything - even though you have submitted it all before - due to "the judge working from home and not having access to previously lodged papers".  Why the courts cannot just send to the judge by e-mail I have no idea but, to be safe, comply with the court order.  Did the order state that you have to send the WS etc or do you have to discuss with the claimant what has to be sent and the claimant sends it.

The more that CEL have to do I think the nearer you get to a discontinuation. If it's for them to produce the bundle, send them all of your stuff to enable them to do so - but I'd also send it to the court as well (safety first), but I wouldn't tell CEL that you have. Give them as much to do as possible!

Watch out for CEL sending a different bundle to the Judge than they sent to you. They did that in the case about (username) oldbird somethingorother!

How about under investment? Cuts of more than 50% to the court system means fewer staff, less equipment like scanners and fewer courts. It's easy to cut from the justice budget as the vast majority of the population never see the practical effect.

Use your votes wisely my friends.

In the meantime, there's good advice here. Do your own bundle and sequentially paginate it.  That's easy enough. If done well (to include their served papers), the court will likely choose to work from just one - yours.

Hi all

Apologies just seen the messages busy with work at the mo with everything going on

Update: Bundle got sent to courts and CeL as per the order (Tried my best to combine the documents together but I didn’t attach my defence so not sure if I Ought fire that across?) and CeL sent me theirs albeit inc my WS and omitting the evidences to it. 

They have sent an offer to settle but how can I reply asking for discontinuation in effect? Happy to take some help by PM to keep things hidden
