@Debt_Me_Out_Of_Here - that sucks on the inflatable park. I would have struggled too as I don't drive but having lessons.
The investment property isn't an option to live in sadly, its hundreds of miles from where I am based. Where I am based the property options are currently out of my league at the moment so I need a stinking big deposit to be able to buy. The investment property i'm hoping to use as a stepping stone to a deposit for something to live in.

Ah I see! It's such a struggle isn't it!
It's the fact that I could afford all of this easily with my salary if past me hadn't built up this silly debt for nothing. But I guess I had a lot of fun in my 20s that I'm now paying off haha. We used to have a car but gave it up to help with the debt busting. It does save soooo much money.Starting debt 2018: £26,000
Current debt as of 1st July 2021: £15,2782 -
@Debt_Me_Out_Of_Here - its better to have lived and loved than to not have lived at all. We'll both get where we want to be, just taking the coastal path.
So this morning I've checked my credit cards and made updates to spreadsheet. A little bit lower than I thought as I'd forgotten about a cheeky bottle of wine I bought last week. So I currently have £152.14 (or £6.61 p/day) left in the pot. Enough food in the cupboards and today is most definitely a no spend day. Tomorrow I have a social which will mean buying a drink at the pub but i'll use Monzo for that.
Feeling a bit bad, my good friend has just started her own 'business' selling spa products, she had a party a couple of weeks ago and I was the only person not to buy anything. I just can't at the moment. The spa products are gorgeous but just a bit out too champagne for my lemonade budget.

Don't feel guilty re your friend. You went to her party to support her and bulk numbers. You can recommend or share on social media for her. You could hold an event at your house so she can reach some different people. Support isn't always financial and I am sure she appreciates your friendship and help 😊Debt free Feb 2021 🎉6

I've been feeling pretty good recently and my anxiety has been better, worrying about work less etc. However last night was an absolutely terrible nights sleep worrying about a task that I've not done right. I am so grrrr in myself as rational headed me will just get on with it this morning and check but eugh I'm really tired.
Tomorrow is pay day and back to paying the bills. I'm having to dip into my savings by £138.69 to put towards the bills but going forward I am keeping a bigger watchful eye on this to live within my means. I know how much I have left to live on till 13th June (my new spending month) and have broken this down into a daily spending rate too.
On the savings front - excluding rental income from investment property I don't have enough from my salary to put into savings as such. I do contribute to a work and private pension pots. I am however increasing the amount of recycled savings into my stocks and shares ISA. This pot has slowly made some worthy gains in the 5 or so years I've had it so this is another baby step forward.
I did look into the tax rebate for working from home but I need to contact the tax office to check my status as I will be doing a self assessment for the investment property and it looks like this is the way I need to go for this too. This is a job for tomorrow.

Next time you are worrying about something, get out of bed, write your problem down on paper, write down the possible or probable solutions and then go back to bed. The writing down may take you half an hour but you'll be able to sleep once it's out of your head. It's almost like using an extra hard drive for your computer. I have very high anxiety levels most of the time and this is what works rather than running the problem/solutions on a never ending loop all through the night.3

@CRANKY40 thank you for some good advice! I actually have a notebook where i started to write down some things last year but will get this out and use it. The specific task that was bothering me was absolutely fine in the end! It needed a small update but nothing serious. I also had my 1-2-1 today and that was probably also causing some stress - again this was fine!

Good Morning Sunshine! You woke me up but hello!!
I'm not sure if I am the only one but got paid this morning and by 6.20 I was logged onto online banking and paying off various pots and debts, so back to now having no money in the bank but at least the pots are paid or accounted for
Think I will surprise the kids tonight with a picnic in the park after school - definitely want to make the most of the day while we can.2025 financial goals & challenges!
