PPI Claim, am I too late?

Options
I have only today been told that I will have had a lot of PPI applied to me over the years. When I was younger I was inundated in loans and credit cards. This was from around 1987 onwards. I have no idea who my loans were with or cards but I did have a loan for 20+ years and numerous cards with debts.

What are my chances of finding out who my loans/cards were with and getting claims in within the next 7 days?

Who has told you that you had PPI "applied" to you? PPI was not simply "applied" and, if you want it refunded, you'll have to show to the sellers that you were somehow mis-sold it. If you don't even know who your lenders were, I'd say you have little to no chance of making a compelling complaint in the next week...

You either have the information or you don’t, you have little chance of requesting and receiving any information from potential lenders in under a week (with a bank holiday thrown in).

I smell either CMC Phone calls telling the OP they’ve found PPI and they need to make a complaint for them ASAP or an advance-fee fraud.

    My spidey senses are tingling.

    Could be, I agree.

People are genuinely naive enough to think that PPI was "applied" without their knowledge and permission...

Naive or desperate enough to believe anything someone offering them free money tells them.

I’ll reserve judgement in this case until we have the facts

Wow, some inferences thrown about.... I only asked a question and may have phrased it wrong.

The facts are, I have had many loans and credit cards and always had payment protection on them.

Yes, I said applied, what I may mean is, it was in in my loans. Apologies if I use the wrong phrases!

No, I have no real information because it was pushing 25 years ago and I am a genuine member of this site for over 15 years.

But who told you that you had PPI?
If they know you had PPI then they must have evidence of this....or they were telling lies.

So you agree to it? And you knew you had it?

So, on what basis would you claim you were missold it, since it seems to have been an active choice of yours to have it ???

But in your first post here you state that you've been told today that PPI was "applied"?

Who exactly has told you this?

Is this a Claims Company just after your signature on a contract, I wonder?
