Bit late now, but for future viewers of this thread, never buy/order/confirm anything until you have actually exchanged.septemberbaby wrote: »still waiting for buyers solicitor to confirm lender is satisfied with this path issue thing.

+1 Don't book anything or commit to anything, until Exchange. Up until Exchange the seller could drop out with no reason and leave you high and dry.0

aparantely its gone back to the mortgage valuer before we can exchange, I am driven demented, Jesus0

This must be so frustrating, but I have everything crossed for you for a speedy exchange0

wow and then the next problem arises this morning.
So our solicitor was chasing up the funds she had requested from Natwest and they informed her that they thought we had a change in circumstances because our Mortgage Advisor called them months back when we had a buyer pull out to ask hypothetically if we were to not sell our own where would we stand etc? They took that as gospel uploaded the notes and now our mortgage offer is back with the underwriters for reassess?
Oh my good lord! We are hours away from exchanging, this is beyond explaination just how anxious stressed and sick i feel right now.
Apparantely the underwriter is going to look at it this afternoon after lunch.
Timescales wise is this going to be enough time to request the funds again for a completion on Friday this week0 -
Theoretically, all the lender need to do is say "Well, OK, that was an error - as you were", and you're back to where you were before they dropped that bombshell on you.
But nobody has spoken to them or checked for "months"...?0 -
ok So now thats sorted.
We are due to exchange this morning now
Latest update from our solicitor is
Your buyers solicitors have advised;
"I have not received the fax
I am just checking I have mortgage funds"
Now what does that even mean - A fax what???0 -
Has it been sorted? And is completion still planned for tomorrow? :eek:0
