We moved into the previous house before our current one.

Imagine! I mean, who does that?

So sorry, zagubov, but that was irresistible (if you're me)
  • Lot of house moves. Lots of experience

The first the buyers were adamant that they needed our curtains. We left them and they took them down and put their own up.

One house we viewed (scary dark red paint everywhere including the radiators and ceiling) and mountain and stream feature in the garden. I said the suite in the en-suite was nice to try to be polite and the seller said he was taking it with him???

My last move we ended up moving in 24 hours to enable the buyers to move before their son started his exams. I took some curtain poles and some light fittings so I could reuse them. They knew and were fine and changed the ones we left anyway. We also came back and asked if we could have a couple of builders bags of leaf mould. They were fine about that too.

People get worked up about things but best to go with the flow.
