    It pains me to say it, but an awful lot of people have no sympathy. You really shouldn't listen to them, and you can't reason with them, so just ignore it. If they ever have a stroke or other illness, or someone they know does, they'll change their minds pretty quickly.

    Unfortunately my own parents were part of the 'they're all scroungers' brigade, right up until the point where my mother had a massive stroke that left her dependent upon others to do even the smallest thing. I really hope that none of you 'they're leg-swinging' people have to learn a similarly harsh lesson.
