Which has no meaning what so ever to your case.0 -
So I should send the most recent letter I posted to both MET and the McDonald's email?0

You send the template to Met. You compose a mail, in your own words, to McDonald's to ask them to cancel the ticket.
It sounds better to send a personal mail to McDonald's rather than an impersonal template0 -
And the letter to McDonald's I should address to the Pomroy email?0

I received a reply from Paul Pomroy saying that they can't revoke the notice on a customer per customer basis. I will await a reply from MET.0

Rather surprised as Paul Pomroy has previously cancelled.
What did you say in your email ?0 -
To Mr Paul Pomroy,
On the 10th August 2019, myself and a group of friends visited the McDonalds chain on REDACTED. This particular branch happens to be based in the middle of my particular group, so is more often than not where we meet up for a meal and chat.
During this particular visit, our group was trying out the new range of products that McDonalds had released at the time. We also hadn’t seen each other in quite a while, which also explains the lengthy duration of our stay on this particular day.
A few days after this visit, myself and another driver in our group received a letter from MET parking (notice number REDACTED, car registration REDACTED) stating that we had to pay £100 due to an overstay in the car park of 24 minutes (the maximum stay 90 minutes, and on this particular occasion we stayed for 114 minutes).
Both myself and the other members of the party can only help but feel this is a vast punishment for a simple mistake made by paying customers, especially considering that no monetary value was lost to both MET parking or the McDonalds in question, as the parking services are ‘free’ and even offer (I have since found out) a prolonged parking stay if one notifies the manager in store. If necessary I can provide proof in the form of an online transaction screenshot proving that I was a paying customer on the day of the notice.
I can completely understand that precautions that need to be put in place to stop manipulation of the parking area at the McDonalds, but I can only help but feel disappointed by the severity of the punishments given, and it is this reason that I am writing to you to inquire as to if there is any possibility that the parking charge notice could be waived.
Thank you for your consideration,
REDACTED0 -
Should also clarify that Paul is currently on leave, and it appears it was forwarded onto someone else who answered my query.0

Try again when he's back.0

Won't be until 1st september... may just bite the bullet and take the 50% reduced fee @ £50. Going to uni soon and don't think I'll have the time to fight this...0
