OP, there is no 'fast track' way to evict. There is no evidence of misrepresentation, and even if there were, that does not void the tenancy. Smoking dope is a matter for the police, nothing to do with your civil dispute.
Yes, you can apply for eviction via an S8 for rent arrears, but then you have to prove it. And, if he pays up to within the 2-month arrears, your application will fail.
Forget an S8, use an S21, under which you don't have to prove anything. But, be sure you have complied with all the terms first (deposit protection, gas safety cert, EPC, etc etc): if you failed to provide any of these, your application will fail. And claiming to 'not really be running a business' will not be a defence.
Some very basic facts would help. Exactly how many months is he in arrears, and when did the tenancy commence? How long was it for?
You can't buy insurance for damage 'after the event': if you have valuables in the property then you should have insured them from the start of the tenancy. If he damages or steals them, then this would be a legitimate business expense for you to offset against your tax bill for the business. There is no such thing as a 'private landlord'.No free lunch, and no free laptop 0 0
