Assuming the app is using smart meter reads then that sounds about right. Your electricity usage seems a little on the high side but of course it's affected by many variables such as the size and type of the property and its energy efficiency rating. I hate to think what your previous usage must have been !

However, some cheap and nasty IHDs don't even display meter readings, so to be absolutely certain I'd take today's readings from the meter itself and subtract the equivalent opening reading

But a daily usage figure isn't very useful because will vary dramatically with the seasons and short term changes in the weather. It's far better always to take the figure for the last twelve months.

Of course, a particularly cold winter or hot summer can still skew the results (as can changing lightbulbs, appliances etc), but if you always know your last 12 months accurate metered usage in kWh you will be able to keep checking that you're always on one of the cheapest tariffs.

Gerry1 my old housemate had 5 freezers and 2 fridges in the cellar. The electric use was off the charts, old inefficient appliances and I dare say with faulty compressors. He also dabbled with bitcoin mining with a bank of PCs down there. One quarterly bill was £2500. And no I did not pay it he did! I now have a new housemate lol

    CC limits £26000

    Long term CC debt £0

Total low rate loan debt £3000

    Almost debt free feeling, priceless.

Ex money nightmare, learnt from my mistakes and never going back there again, in control of my finances for the first time in my adult life and it feels amazing.

Just consider yourself lucky that Freezer No. 6 didn't suddenly appear one day, and then you suddenly disappeared the next...

Gerry1 trust me I did wonder! I'm sure you'll appreciate why £60 a month electric is a dream come true in comparison to the last few years. Haha. £15 each between us, no skimping on usage bit we are more mindful when you can see the display going red sometimes.
