Today's spend was much better than I expected at £24.68 taking me to £23.98 left to carry forward to October but on checking my spreadsheet I must have missed something somewhere as I've actually only got £1.14 left to carry forward.
Will have to keep a better check on it next month - but at least I'm within budget!

And I'm declaring at £435/£420, £15 over, but also £15 under the budget I originally set before doing a bulk-buy last month, so adjusted this month & next month correspondingly downwards. So I'm not downcast, just a little - peeved!Angie - GC Aug25: £292.26/£550 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)0

We have spent £12.51 since last post.
For dinner I'm having vegetable stew with mashed potato.
OH is having beef stew and mashed potato for dinner.
£217.41/£200.
£17.41 over.
If the pattern of overspend keeps up we may have to think about increasing the budget.
I am a vegan woman. My OH is a lovely omni guy0 -
Last spend of the month of £4.51 for some fruit, milk, and vinegar (which I won't be combining...). That brings me to a total of £37.12 / £40, which I am happy to call a resounding success!
