Thanks the problem is I'm seting it up for my mum who has dementia I spoke to Avro over the phone this morning and they said to set it up online and then send the lasting power of attorney copy to them as it will be me dealing with it,I would imagine they won't talk to me further about this account now it has been set up and I'm not the named person on account,if that makes any sense
Have you registered your mum with the Priority Services Register?
  • Hi,

I've just recently changed via MSE Energy Club to Igloo, the reviews were good from existing customers and the initial process seems to be going well. I've saved 24 per month based on my yearly usage. I've been with the same Energy provider for 15 years and just kept re fixing each time! It was really easy to sign up and it seems they just take care of everything.

Igloo? Never heard of them. Great name for an energy company; makes me think of BG adverts with the shivering penguins wearing scarves... Not that penguins live in igloos, AFAIK. :D

I agree with Biggus (I refuse to write the second part of your username :naughty:) that most small companies can't wait to get their mitts on your money; not so the Big 6 if your credit record is acceptable. This is another reason I prefer to deal with (some of) them. I realise this limits me to an extent but am fine with that as the Warm Home Discount forgives a great many sins.

wilson1973, does your mother qualify for that? If she does, this should influence your decision. I am sorry to complicate matters for you; I feel this is all I am doing but want you to be aware of all factors and am sorry they don't all occur to me at the same time. :o

    Hi no unfortunatley,thanks anyway
