DFS sofa - bought over phone - too big - what will my options be?

Ordered a lovely sofa over the phone, on finance, came today and will no way fit through the door to the lounge. Can’t be taken apart because of the style. So. What will my options be tomorrow when the case manager calls?
I THINK my worst case scenario is I will need to pay 20% of the cost to cancel my contract and them take it back, is that right?

You can't blame DFS if the sofa is too big for your lounge. I'm afraid the terms and conditions do say up to 20% of the cost for collection.0

Pop a window out, if you've got one big enough?0

That’s fine and expected, I just was worried I’d be left with a sofa I can’t get in, if 20% is my Wray case scenario I can live with that!!0

As above, can you get it through a front or rear window if it's temporarily removed?
If you can't, I'm afraid you're liable for the 20% charge.0 -
No it’s a bay window and the prices we are being given to get that done are stupid. I’d rather pay 20% as it’s cheaper. So paying 20% IS the worst case scenario, ie I won’t hve to pay 100% and keep the sofa?0

As long as you ordered it entirely at a distance, then yes
Did you go and look at it in store beforehand?
(I am not aware of any DFS policies above statutory FYI)0 -
Hi there, entirely over the phone having seen it online. Never went to see it?0

A very long time ago we ordered a settee from one of the chains, paid cash and when it was delivered wouldn't go through the door, we went back the following day and got a full refund, even better they miss-counted the refund and we got an extra £20.Make £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023
Make £2024 in 2024...0 -

They may take it back but have you talked to the finance provider as well?0
