Phones2UDirect website still working tonight.... Got £240 from them about a month ago, and was about to instigate proceedings to claim the 2nd batch on 4th Dec, hope they don't go the same way as other three companies that went under earlier this month...!!

{edit - in fact, just delved a bit further and although the site is still up, any links to buy a phone just redirect through an affiliate network to another retailer (e2save/CPW/mobiles 2 your door)

Looks like I may have lost £480 cashback...... @rse

Lets hope so - I would have thought if they had gone into administration they would not still be trading via cpw...may be they can make more per contract via the e2save affilate payment (£35?) than they can risking it on the redemption rate?

Something strange - cpw don't do any voda deals.

If you try and buy a voda contract you get redirected to mobiles2yourdoor.

Or try and buy a 3 contract and you go to dialaphone.

CPW lost the Vodafone dealership a year ago. Voda decided to partner with 4U.

There is talk about CPW being able to offer Voda contracts in the future though.

I would seriously step away from taking on new cashback deals at the moment. I know for a fact that there are MPs who want to put a stop to them ASAP, and if that happens in the next few months, there will be a lot more companies going down the pan.

TMobiles end of financial year is the 31st Dec, and they have overspent thier budget for this year. They are offering line rental discounts with no tie in for up to 6 months, rather than supply a new phone, until January when thier new financial year starts and they have their budget back.

If it costs them £30 instead of having to give away a £200 phone, it obviously makes the accounts look better.

That is why they are offering these deals to people who are in thier last month of commitment.
