This is eerily familiar to a post from someone with a very similar name a while back.
That fellow had an utterly distorted view of his value to an employer, and felt himself to be far superior to the image given by his posts.
Anyway, coincidences aside, and lowbrow narcissists forgotten about it’s going to take a bit more information before anyone can try to suggest what is going wrong.
So, what’s your story?0 -
I have applied for thousands of jobs. I applied for McDonalds about 5 times now but didn't turn up for interviews because i felt better but now they won't accept my application. I only have 1 month before university now and things like Primark and supermarkets i fail the online questions0

Yeah in all honesty I wouldn't offer you any more interviews either if you didn't turn up to the previous five...
I think this is a case of your making your own bed by being IIRC incredibly picky about the work you wanted to do, and because of that attitude you now find yourself effectively stuffed with a month to go to starting Uni.
As was previously mentioned last time you need to start small, if you want to fit Uni studies in it's probably going to be part time. The local pub may be a good place to start.0 -

But i don't have a local pub0 -
Ah, right, no more pretending then, you are him.
Honest opinion? You will never hold down a job, so make the most of three years of university, as after that I see seventy thoroughly miserable years ahead for you.
Do you remember your indignation last time about being turned down because you had failed to turn up multiple times to interviews, your laughable claim that you could not tear off receipts, and your refusal to apply to Prezzo as you thought it too posh?
The fact is, you’ve a million and one terrible excuses, and are still choosing to make yourself unemployable.
Two choices, change your attitude, or accept that the best days are already behind you.
Which is it to be?0 -
I am not choosing myself to be unemployable. If companies just gave me a chance that would be great. I tried Prezzo and they didn't even get in contact with me. I tried supermarkets, I didn't get past the online questions0

You won’t get a job with your attitude. If you go on like that at uni I can see you failing semester 1.0

On the plus side, at least you're now feeling better. :beer:Samtheman1111111 wrote: »I applied for McDonalds about 5 times now but didn't turn up for interviews because i felt better0 -
What about
The Wilfred Owen
Townhouse Oswestry
There's other restaurants and cafes in Oswestry, you tried them ?
Just stop applying for Mcdonalds, I bet your on a blacklist.
Always turn up for interviews.
I count at least 13 pubs in Oswestry, more if you count Black Lion, Ye Olde White Lion Inn, Unicorn Inn too.
You've been told before Sam you need to help yourself.0 -

And this seems to be part of the problem. Excuses. Until you stop making them you're not going to get anywhere.0
