Can We File for PPI After Aug 29th If We Enquired Before Aug 29th?

The trouble is though that so many of these quick buck companies jumped all over it, it made the whole thing seem like a scam so people avoided it. I mean come on, how often have you looked further into adverts or claims of "you can get free money, just sign up with us and send us your bank details"
And then when you add on the perception of complexity, perpetuated by these companies, and people not having details or documents from 10 years ago. And people are rightly not going to bother.
The ONLY reason I started enquiring was that a friend of mine told me about the new policy that some have of fill in 1 enquiry form and if there's PPI they'll auto complain, and he's a pretty basic guy so I figured if he managed it then it can't be that difficult0
