When I got through to the dealing desk this morning what surprised me was how quiet and peaceful it seemed there. I assumed there would be a hive of frantic activity going on in the background. But it was like the dealer had been sitting there most of the morning just looking out of his window on a very quiet day, nothing much going on......0

Probably because there'll be working from home...........snipkin said:When I got through to the dealing desk this morning what surprised me was how quiet and peaceful it seemed there. Give it 3 or 4 days and you should see your buys turn up/ visible in your SC account. If you then click on the eye next to the share it will give a reference number.johnburman said:1 I can now receive the two part authentication number- they all of a sudden started sending them to me
2 - i phoned the dealing desk and bought some ETfs. All done manually by a nice dealer. Who charged me £7.95 commission. No it does not show up anywhere; and no my cash balance has not been reduced and no I do not have a Contract Note and my figues on my account make no sense at all,but on the 'phone I bought something. And yes it too 15 minutes and yes he told me he needed 3 screens ot do it and yes he confirmed it was my ISA (this took him 5 minutes to find out).
I asked him about transfers and he said he was the delaing desk and knew nothing about nothing other than delaing.1 -
My2penneth I should not have to wait 3 of 4 days. Not 3 or 4 minutes or hours, 3 or 4 seconds maybe. And a small PS, the traders, or at least mine was not working from home. He had a colleague there and had to ask him a question.0

Is there a 'y' missing there?johnburman said:he said he was the delaing desk and knew nothing about nothing other than delaing.

Actually now I think about it no there is not, its dealing. Maybe being locked out of you r own money for 13 months and holding on the phone for an hour gives you dyslexia.0

If I had any reason to phone ITI and ended up getting through to their dealing desk where I was told they know nothing other than dealing, I don't think I could resist checking they didn't say delaying. Having said that, the delaying desk at ITI would be a lot busier.

How long do I have to wait before I can put a complaint into the FCA and FOS about this whole debacle and with regard to my transferring out of ITI CRAPITAL.0

Thanks to all here for useful pointers.I am very relieved to hear that it is possible to deal out of positions by phone. I intend to try that for myself tomorrow. Further reassuring to hear that the 'Dealer' was kind enough to email out a 'Withdrawal form'.But here is the (for me) £15,000 question: Has ANYONE on this forum yet managed to extricate cash withdrawals from ITI Capital (from an Ex-SVS ISA account) and actually had the proceeds turn up on their bank account? If anyone can give me a positive answer to that question they will have cured an old man of his insomnia! I have trawled several pages back on this forum and know some have applied for withdrawals but can find no mention of a successful outcome.0
