Lex Autolease has invoiced me for a private parking notice that was 'in appeal' without warning

Keep the Non-Compliant Notice to Hirer paragraph as is, since we know that exact wording has won before.
Otherwise, it is acceptable to use shorthand and this can be done without sacrificing clarity or impact. For a start, 'P.E.' rather than 'Parking Eye'. That alone will reduce it by 36 characters.
Example: 'P.E. do not provide sufficient evidence of signage at site. Their photos do not show CURRENT signage at site. ....'. I've found it helpful to capitalise anything that really needs emphasis so if 'current' is a key point, do that. (For some reasons italics and bold don't work). Also, get rid of little words that add nothing, so just 'driver' rather than 'the driver'.
Loads of ways to prune ... 'POPLA appeal' as opposed to 'POPLA submission' and so on.0 -
If you have done so in the rebuttal, new appeal points or evidence omitted from the original appeal, cannot now be added, so there may be some character savings to be made, if that's the case. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
