I've said on here before that I choose not to use Retinol as I don't like what it does to your skin, unfortunately I've just discovered my main SPF cream contains it, apparently it's not quite retinol, but pro-retinol (or retinyl palmitate) which is gentler, I will have a think about both of these and whether I will GA or not, I'm not sure....I will update once I've made up my mind!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

One UU from this morning:
The Body Shop Shea Shower Cream 250ml WDBA and will do in the future. This is lovely. I've always loved the Shea range from The Body Shop. This is so gentle on my skin. Will replace with the Mango one I got last week.0 -

I missed that, why you don't like it?
I have sold a No7 Pamper Set on Ebay, I could have used some of the products in it but thought selling nail polishes come with it would be more difficult so sold the whole set.ally.0 -

It makes your skin cells turn over much faster than is natural and I’m not sure that’s a good thing long term, it’s also known for thickening your skin which just makes me think of the people with leathery skin from the sun, I’m just not comfortable with the concept so I’ll be sticking to the things I know work for me.:)
That being said I am going to use up these creams, a couple of pots of the most gentle derivative of retinol won’t hurt, but I will avoid it when buying things in the future, which unfortunately means I can’t try the Aldi SPF30 day creamNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

I finished dregs of a shampoo lingering in the bathroom for ages.
Finished Laura Geller highlighter. It was fine but used it up as a eye Shadow. The elf replacement is too irredesecent. My face resembles a glitter ball. The Laura Geller one was amazing as it didn't transfer or travel around the face and came off easily with make up remover. The replacement is hard to remove and glitter is everywhere.
Finished a Clinique moisturiser. It was nice. Would buy again.0 -

I’ve got a mini Laura Geller Gilded Honey highlighter that I was meant to be panning. Like you thou I use it as eyeshadow merely because the pot is too small to get a big brush in. I have been working more on my Bobbi Brown Shimmerbrick though now that I’ve hit pan.
Forgot to mention too that I finished the Diffused Light powder from my Hourglass palette too. Am using a loose powder now by Nude by Nature that I got in a Tili box. It’s ok but I feel I have to apply a lot for even coverage. Am going to buy a replacement Hourglass Dim Light at the end of the month.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge.
