Hi all I will start again as I posted on some one else’s thread which can confuse everyone sorry about that.
So I had my WCA on 2nd July haven’t hear anything yet from DWP I suffer OA and have difficulties getting around I use crutches so the assessor has recognised that and put in the report (which I have)... was observed walking 45m to the room but stopped 3 times due to pain I was under the impression that I would score 15 points. I’m in the WRAG at the moment. Recommendation says wouldn’t be found a substantial risk if was found capable of work or work related activity... I suffer OA in both knees and severe anxiety/depression... any advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks

I'm not clear what the question is.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0

The Support Group is not about points. You have to meet one of the descriptors or be at, or cause, substantial risk if found fit for work.
Support Group descriptor 1 is1. Mobilising unaided by another person with or without a walking stick, manual wheelchair or other aid if such aid can reasonably be used.
Cannot either
(i) mobilise more than 50 metres on level ground without stopping in order to avoid significant discomfort or exhaustion
or
(ii) repeatedly mobilise 50 metres within a reasonable timescale because of significant discomfort or exhaustion.
So if you have had to stop 3 times to do 45m you appear to meet this descriptor and would therefore be placed in the Support Group.
Unfortunately you will not know for sure until you get DWP decision.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0 -
Sorry... no it says does not suggest a substantial risk if they found capable of work or work related activity.0

Does it say anything about fit for work? or any points awarded for mobilising as 15 are needed for WRAG. If it doesn't say anything else and there's no points awarded then it could well be fit for work.Sorry... no it says does not suggest a substantial risk if they found capable of work or work related activity.0 -
Hi no it says if found capable of work0

This means they recommend that there will be no risk if you were not found to have limited capability for work related activity. This means it's fit for work if there's nothing else mentioned. Of course you'll need to wait for a decision.Sorry... no it says does not suggest a substantial risk if they found capable of work or work related activity.
You mention walking. Does it state anything about mobilising?0 -
That’s wat I thought as well... however she also said that she had observed me walking 45m to the room slowly stopping 3 times due to pain.0

Hope I’m making sense here0
