Also just been told someone applied for a backdate of SDP for until may and it took less then 2 weeks for it to be in there bank accounts , So I guess it does vairy.0

That's slightly different to yours because you're claiming for a benefit that was owed from 4 years ago and for this reason it can take longer. Also just been told someone applied for a backdate of SDP for until may and it took less then 2 weeks for it to be in there bank accounts , So I guess it does vairy.
As others have advised, you just have to wait. There's nothing you can do until a decisions been made.0 -
I know, Ive literally stated more then twice now I don't really mind about the timescale lol I can't stress it enough I don't know why people seem to be focusing on the timescale, I only mentioned times and dates just to be in more detail. Ive actually asked 2 questions that's all. 1. Am I able to backdate on an old ESA claim for SDP , 2. Is there any rule or regulation or something saying that you can't backdate if you didn't apply. That's simply all i've asked

Also I did see your first reply to me on the first comment that you said it is possible to claim sdp for the time im entitled to it i'm pretty sure that answered my first question in some retrospect and thank you for that.0

Yet, you came back and commented again about the timescales.... :rotfl:I know, Ive literally stated more then twice now I don't really mind about the timescale lol I can't stress it enough I don't know why people seem to be focusing on the timescale, I only mentioned times and dates just to be in more detail. I was only adding to it! Since that's what people was talking about. What am I suppose to do point blank ignore it? I addressed it and people kept revolving around it. Then you want to comment "why did you comment on timescales then" lol really??...Please re read through the whole post. I haven't been rude to you or anything lol.
The only reason I genuinely replied back about the timescales was because people commented about it and didn't want to be rude, I don't really understand what the big deal is here. Please can we leave the times alone and just answer my question please.
Is there anyone on here that can help?
Is it possible to claim even though you did not claim for yourself beforehand.0 -
That was from calcotti, So I responded
"For what it's worth, 6 weeks does sound more likely than 6 days.
OP, regardless of timescale anything you get will be a welcome bonus so you just need to sit it out."
Then K80BLACK
" Are you sure they didn't say 6 weeks? I had a similar problem with backdating SDP for a period - I made them aware that I wished to claim in January this year, it took until May 29th for them to finally say they owed me money, and I'm still waiting for the actual payment! Just warning you that it can be a VERY long wait!"
So I was responding to him too, that's why "I brang it up" .0 -
I've only come on here to get advice not argue about the time someone said to me on the phone.0
