You could go through every setting on Windows 10 and adjust the permissions that automatically allow Microsoft to access your webcam, emails, apps, microphone, bluetooth, etc etc.
I didn't set it up with a Microsoft account, I did it with a local account and selected no for every allowance request.0 -

Oh okay then so it's not actually required, I wish I'd know that a long time ago as it would have saved me a load of hassle/time. Why is it even there in the first place then If the computer works fine without it?
It's amazing I'm sat here typing in total silence when usually the fans are going mad and being really loud.
It just adds a bit more power to your Graphics capability and takes some of the strain off the CPU. But it seems you don't need the extra capability and to be fair, it(the graphics card) isn't that great anyway.
If you needed greater graphics capability, such as for Full HD video editing, you can buy a better graphics card for between £10(second hand) and £30 (new)0 -

Okay.
There are still alot more things set to let Microsoft automatically collect, further in the settings menu. (Not just the ones they alert you about during the installation process).0 -
Once complete, you can connect up your other drives. As long as the SSD is the first in the boot order, there should be no conflict. Then you can move the data around as you please. Not much point in getting another SDD, as often there isn't much need for the extra speed when it comes to secondary storage.
It really makes the difference for your Boot/day to day drive.0 -

I'm loving my newly installed Windows 10, on my newly installed SSD.
All great stuff.
